Malcolm Harslett

Recognised by the general public as the longest running presenter on "Here's Humphrey", the TV show which starred Australia's favourite bear, Humphrey, Malcolm has dedicated himself to the pursuit of educating South Australian children and adults in the art of show business and the development of locally produced shows into which local talent can be cast.

Malcolm is credited with writing, directing, producing and starring in a massive total of 30 Family Pantomimes, 8 Theatre Restaurant Cabaret Shows, all at his own theatre, and countless corporate special events, major shopping centre productions, a National Children's Television Program and much more in the last 15 years, not to mention all of the work he did before that!

Malcolm is still a working actor/performer and sought after front man, having compared literally thousands of shows using his intuitive style and flair to capture the essence of any audience, both young and old.
His writing, producing and directing of both Television and Stage Productions have placed him in the enviable position of never being out of work.  He manages to continue to do this all while overseeing the largest Production Company and Entertainment School in South Australia.

Malcolm is an icon and dynamic force within the Australian Entertainment Industry and his ongoing commitment to his chosen craft has gained him the title of "the human dynamo" amongst his peers.

Having originally worked as an Ice Skating Compere with Torville and Dean's World Tour in 1985, recent times has seen Malcolm return to Ice-skating, bringing his performing overseas again and some of his more popular comedy characters to a whole new audience.
